How to make a Jungle Bird

A unique tiki style cocktail. First created in the 1970s in Kuala Lumpur at the Aviary bar in Kuala Lumpur, this tropical concoction combines a delicious mix of dark rum, Campari and fruit juices.

Jungle Bird Cocktail


  • 45mL Dark Jamaican Rum
  • 22.5mL Campari
  • 120mL Fresh Pineapple Juice
  • 15mL Fresh Lime Juice
  • 15mL Sugar Syrup preferably demerara (1:1)


  1. Add all the ingredients to your cocktail shaker
  2. Shake & double strain over fresh ice into a double old fashioned
  3. Garnish with pineapple spears and skewered orange and maraschino
