How to make a Fog Cutter // TIKI WEEK

Trader Vic first put this drink together decades ago. An interesting concoction of white rum, cognac, gin & sherry is sweetened with orgeat (almond syrup) and citrus.

Fog Cutter Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 45mL White Rum
  • 30mL Cognac VSOP
  • 15mL Gin
  • 15mL Orgeat
  • 15mL Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 45mL Fresh Orange Juice
  • 15mL Amontillado Sherry

HOW TO

  1. Add all the ingredients (except the Amontillado sherry) to your cocktail shaker
  2. Shake & strain over fresh ice into a cooler glass
  3. Garnish with a slice of orange, maraschino cherry and a mint sprig
